A wild adventure

#1 Post by Carpdaddy »

It began with a couple of my friends, one that lives near an Elk hunting zone. He has been deer hunting and bear hunting and said he usually can find Elk near one of the areas hunts. So soon as they got off this evening a local buddy and I loaded up and drove an hour to the other friends house. From there we loaded in his side by side and began what turned out to be quite an adventure. We began riding, glassing, and walking, looking in search of Elk. When you put 70 miles in the mountains on one of these you have had a wild time, at least for this old codger!

Nothing like the smell of an elk wallow to fill your nostrils and never leave!
