What did you do today?

Come on in and sit a spell. There's a seat for you around the campfire.

Drunk coffee and peered through this site, but the day is young! Yesterday I refinished an older bow I built back in 2014. Reduced a little weight and reshaped riser a little while I was in the process. Oh yea; and shot some arrows. Ended my day visiting funeral home.

Took my five year old daughter out to what is the woods for her and started teaching her survival skills. Just a first run down on what to do if separated from me in the forest. Basic fire starting and safety. Worked a bit on her new bow, Rowan flat long bow. Put a few sausages on the fire she helped start and ate. Little bit on potable water and how to put the fire out properly.

I love to hear things like that, Feanor! Never too young to begin teaching survival skills.

Got new tires for my truck.
So hopefully when I'm in the middle of nowhere in northern Quebec I won't get a blowout.
