Jesus replaces the old covenant and speaks to the believer the moral code of God by His Spirit directly to the heart. He is the eternal, everlasting revelation of God to mankind. In Him is both the knowledge of righteousness and the power to live right.

Armored (I had orders for Fort Hood, Texas years ago but instead, extended my tour in VN twice. If I had gone there's a good chance I'd be living in Texas today)

Thanks Capt. I'd heard the term but never knew what it really meant having grown up in NY & NJ and then moving to central Illinois which is just about on the North/South line. I've heard how this was a tough place to live during the Civil War. The Southern part of the State went with the Confederates and the Northern half stayed with the Union. I was curious and googled, "did General Grant [who came out of the NW corner of Illinois] ever eat corn pone?" Doesn't look like he did. Every reference was to corn bread. ;)
