It wouldn't matter , when you re sharpen , your way of sharpening will be what it is .
Everyone is different , it's not rocket science and there are several correct ways to do it .
I'm not sure but I think a Lansky the angle setting is inclusive . Meaning a 20 degree setting is 10 per side . So you should be golden .

It's time to buff .
This gets frustrating because you think it's ready to buff , but when it gets shiny , the little scratches show up .
Sand with 400 grit and buff again .
Repeat .

The knife is finished except for the sharpening .
I will wait until after the sheath is made .
I learned the hard way about using a sharp knife while fitting to a new sheath .
