I reglued my leather beavertail strike plate on my whip and it's been on really well since through many shots and hunting season. Barge cement. I like it because it has held and does not damage the bows finish

So I could not find barge cement locally and I was nervous about other leather glues because of words like permanent lol. Ended up using double sided scotch tape and we will see how long it lasts. Black leather looks pretty awesome on my slick stick. When you have more than one good bow you forget how good your other bows are too lol. Anyway I'll update you all to let you all know how it holds up. Hopefully I won't be updating anytime soon.

I've used the carpet tape before, it works.
