Refurbishing a quiver

Got an old neet brand field quiver.the rear arrow facing belt type.two bucks at the thrift store.its stiff as a board.got mink oil soaking on it.my old one is soft and broke in good.

Any secrets on softening this quiver.these are my favorite type.don't care for the forward facing type.

Is there any other materials on it that will melt under some heat or is it just all leather?

Its all black leather.

If you can work the leather with your hands, you can get it quite soft in just a little while.
Wherever you can, fold it back on itself and roll it between your hands.

I used to use neatsfoot oil on my baseball mitts, Dan. Softened even the stiffest ones up really quick.
