Changing my answer. Have probably hunted equally with my widow maker recurve this year and it is perhaps the smoothest bow you would ever shoot. 62 inch 42lbs at 28. Only 58” strung which makes it manageable in a stand. I need to make more arrows for it though.

Umm, not sure if changing your mind is acceptable forum protocol, Dave. Unless you're a female, of course. Then all bets are off.

When you have three Flatline’s. I’d like to see you choose.

I go back and forth. I love the cardiac but this widow maker has a spell on it.

I hunted with a '68 Bear Kodiak Hunter last year. Not sure what I'm going to use this year, but currently I'm shooting a 56" Westbow Hunter, and a Warf Black Bear/Trad Tech combo. I might rotate between all three.

Nice bows gents! I always thought the risers on those old kodiak hunters had cool lines to them.

Last year I shot my pika because i was used to it and have a lot of confidence with it, but this year I think I am going to make my recurve my go to bow.

I have been wanting to try out a static tip recurve for a while now but there doesnt seem to be a lot of them and I have yet to find a used one in my specs.

Anyone planning on mixing it up and trying a new bow this year?
