Finally got my caribou rug!

Brian Peterson, of Cedarcreek Taxidermy, gave me my caribou rug at the United Bowhunters of Missouri Festival this past weekend. I arrowed this bull in September of 2017. It took over a a year to get the hide tanned and sent to me from Quebec. When I got it, I immediately gave it Brian so he could work his magic. I am very happy with the outcome.

Very nice! Is that the hide, minus the cape that was used for the mount?

That's the whole hide I guess. I didn't do a mount other than a skull plate with horns. I killed this caribou about an hour before our plane arrived to take us out of the bush. I had to fight the guides to let me skin it! They were going to quarter it with the hide on.
