Any blueberries growing in that rich acidic soil?
Hope you have some youngins around to help gather and trim.
I don't know what it is about pines. Some of my fondest memories are of sitting under a large pine during a snow fall in the Catskills of upstate New York. It just seems so much warmer, protected and peaceful.
Another fond memory is sitting next to a half frozen small, clear flowing stream with many white birch and pine trees all around. After I left that very most Northern portion of New Jersey in the late 60's, they built a ski resort all around that stream which was in the valley, most of the way up the hills.

Jesus replaces the old covenant and speaks to the believer the moral code of God by His Spirit directly to the heart. He is the eternal, everlasting revelation of God to mankind. In Him is both the knowledge of righteousness and the power to live right.

Yes, that spot is good for the blood pressure.
I can sit there carving a stick and flinging arrows for hours. And in two hours time I doubt I shoot more than a dozen times.
Fortunately our adult children are glad to help out.
And the old man usually grills up some steaks or a roast on the open charcoal. A good bunch we have there but they don't fling arrows.

I love to sit under the pines in my back yard and cast lead bullets and round balls. Something very peaceful and satisfying.

This is my special place, but it's 1 hour 20 minutes from home.

Under the circumstances, I would not find that too far a drive, Greg.
