Hunting season is only four and a half months away for me. If you are anything like me you will be fine tuning your setup for this current season let's see those setups. Post a pic of your current set up so we can ooo and aaahhh.

Nice looking setups. Is that galaxy ember related to the black hunters? Definitely look similar

I'm looking forwards to July and the first tomatoes. Right now they are in small containers under grow lights in the old 30 gal fish tank.

My hunting instincts may not get stimulated this year unless someone - for the 3rd year in a row - bites the tops off of the tulips. Then I may start practicing with a sling shot or a bb gun. Until then, there is peace in the valley - err, flat lands of Illinois where I live. Unless one of the many mines that are rumored to be under everywhere subsides. But so far, I haven't heard of that happening.
Jesus replaces the old covenant and speaks to the believer the moral code of God by His Spirit directly to the heart. He is the eternal, everlasting revelation of God to mankind. In Him is both the knowledge of righteousness and the power to live right.

A great reminder grizzly, that there is more to life than hunting. I'll let you in on a secret. I have bow hunted exclusively for five years now..... And I have yet to kill a deer with a bow. The reality is I see very few of them and sometimes it frustrates me but it's not the reason I go. I go for the woods. In life some people miss the forest for the trees, but I just want to sway among them.

Fred Bear put it like this.

"When a hunter is in a tree stand with high moral values and with the proper hunting ethics and richer for the experience, that hunter is 20 feet closer to God."
-- Fred Bear

"Go afield with a good attitude, with respect for the wildlife you hunt and for the forest and fields in which you walk. Immerse yourself in the outdoor experience. It will cleanse your soul and make you a better person."
-- Fred Bear

I go to the woods because it's the thing the heavenly father has given me that undos all the horror I see on a daily basis. Sorry for the rant.
