Ok, how should a two blade arrow head be oriented on an arrow shaft.
And please post comments of your opinion and why.

I think they should be horizontal because that flat blade acts like a rudder on the front of a boat.
If there's a cross wind, the first few feet before the arrow starts to rotate it would have less effect on the arrow turning.
Also if you had a bad release in a hunting shot, and you got a little fish tailing, that would help as well.

I usually shoot 4 fletch. I don't shoot over 20 yards so cross wind is not a factor from what I can tell. I am not accurate enough anyways.

most do place theirs horizontal for sight picture.

I shoot three blade.

I shoot 3 blade but when I shot 2 blade I placed them horizontal so I wouldn't see them as much.

If arrows are fletched at any angle arrows will spin, so wind might effect if positioned any way. My thoughts.

In my experience i havent been able to determine that it makes any difference on a properly tuned arrow. I shoot mine horizontal so there not in my sight window.Although I have noticed that a 2 blade will suffer inconsistencies more so on an arrow not properly tuned. Imo

Horizontal or close to, for sight picture only, don’t need completely horizontal, just where don’t catch my eye.

I orient my heads vertical to feel the head hit my finger and I think it just looks cooler.
