I can envision gap shooters using the vertical blade as a front sight, fine bead to full blade.

Doesn't really matter to flight. It's more a matter of preference.
Aim small, miss small!

Bear in mind, it's static only. Arrow starts rotating around the time the fletching clears the riser.
Aim small, miss small!

My broadheads are oriented how ever they end up when they are screwed in. Haven’t had any I’ll effects from them being turned different from arrow to arrow.

That has been my experience also. I am also using 2 fletch.

I'm in agreement with Graps here. But I voted other simply because it should be consistent. I'm guessing here, but I would guess that the popularity of the 5" feather has to do with hunting and broadheads. Target points certainly don't need 5 inches of feathers to fly true unless many things are wrong.Graps wrote: ↑Sat Aug 31, 2019 9:45 pm I think they should be horizontal because that flat blade acts like a rudder on the front of a boat.
If there's a cross wind, the first few feet before the arrow starts to rotate it would have less effect on the arrow turning.
Also if you had a bad release in a hunting shot, and you got a little fish tailing, that would help as well.
Jesus replaces the old covenant and speaks to the believer the moral code of God by His Spirit directly to the heart. He is the eternal, everlasting revelation of God to mankind. In Him is both the knowledge of righteousness and the power to live right.
