Here’s the story. In 2016 some of you may remember that I was dealing with Kidney cancer and had to have surgery. During this ordeal that left me very weak and useless I was lucky/unlucky enough to get drawn for the most coveted thing I could dream of, I was drawn for the Ky Elk lottery hunt! This I had put in for since there was such a thing and never gotten drawn, suddenly while unable to do anything much physical I get a tag! I did have some very dear friends to take me out a little but could not get serious.
Update: If you have read my post in the prayer request thread you know that I am dealing with some health issues again, waiting now for a call from Doc to set up lung biopsy, but I got a different kind of call! I was contacted from the Ky dept of fish and wildlife resources to inform me that I was one of the 25 chosen to hunt the newly opening Lake Barkley State Park hunt in November!
I couldn’t hope for a better hunt, I sure am hoping and praying that I will be able! Now; is someone spying on me and drawing my name when they figure I can’t hunt? If so that is cruel. But I aim to trick them and be healed, and go hunting!
