You are getting them close. I can smell the steaks cooking.Good luck.
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Re: !0 yards.
Now if that was a rabbit and one had a shotgun, what would we do?
I had that happen with the largest turkey I'd ever seen when I had a bow. But after years of sitting in tree stands and taking perfect shots, I gambled that he would come to the decoys for another chance at a shot. I'd gotten so used to waiting upon that perfect double lung shot. He totally ignored them.
After that I realized that these years had dulled my old small game hunting reflexes.
I wonder if you could have drawn on him? Probably not without him bolting out of there, but what if? Would he continue to watch a slow draw?
I've amazed myself sometimes at what we can do with a recurve on moving targets - amazed compounders also who were with me.
Anyway, they are getting closer and you didn't reveal your position, which is a good thing. Consider adjusting to where he came in from?

Jesus replaces the old covenant and speaks to the believer the moral code of God by His Spirit directly to the heart. He is the eternal, everlasting revelation of God to mankind. In Him is both the knowledge of righteousness and the power to live right.

The county I hunt only lets you hunt does 17 days in general season. I have till the 17th to get a doe. Then bucks only to end of season. Rain today, will be out in the morning and Tuesday, to be 20 deg. That might get them moving better.

Re: !0 yards.
Not really, But if one comes close enough, I will take the shot. I have shot a lot of hogs, I go mainly for the deer and just to get out in the woods! I do like shooting Javelina in S. TX one hunting trip a year!
