1st Traditional bow kill!

I am so blessed. Yesterday morning I put an arrow through the vitals of my first trad deer. The deer was 5 yards away and walking. The arrow entered high in the leftt shoulder and exited low in the right shoulder. As you can see it didn't go far.

My setup was a Maddog longbow 49-50 pounds, GT traditionals 15/35 28 1/4 inches bop. I was shooting a 160 grain bear greenie for a total arrow weight of 455 grains.

Praise the Lord fellas. Last year at this time I was laying in a hospital bed taking chemo and very uncertain if I would even be alive to hunt again. But, through his mercy and healing grace I am alive, cancer free, and getting healthier every day. I am just so blessed to be able to expierence my dreams once again. I wanted to share this to glorify him. Man am I pumped! :D
