Ticks, skeeters, serpents, and itchy plants!
Most of the places I hunt here in Kentucky require preparation for these tormentors! Hunting early season without tick spray can lead to a very unpleasant experience to say the least. The place I most often hunt is low land near the river, it gets totally under water during the rainy season. This helps keep down the ticks and snakes but the abundance of skeeters make up for it. Higher elevations equals deer ticks in abundance. Poison Ivy grows up and around most trees in the swampy areas near the river also, we often have to trim the stuff for shooting lanes, I sometimes climb trees full of it.

Set 5 stands today..... got seed ticks all over me. 1 stand was 40 yards into the timber. The rest were field edges.

They weren't on your list, but I was within 500 yards of our stands on private ground I have permission to hunt and there were 2 Mountain Lions.
Up in the mountains here we'll have the occasional tick. Sometimes the skeeters are pretty enoying. Some areas have rattle snakes.
I have run into porcupine and skunk.
Probably the most worrisome critter would be the Grizzly bear in areas.

I’ll keep my Ticks and skeeters Tom, you keep the Lions & Grizzlies!

Armadillos have gotten really active under my stand a few times. X bow hunters too, so loud and unawares they've walked right next to my stand and not known it until I hissed at them.
Nothing clears a troubled mind like shooting a bow.

Y'all can have your snakes. We have a few here, but not many.
Aim small, miss small!

Snakes are friendly around these parts.

Dead snakes are more friendly, and tend to bite less frequently as well.
