No problem with straight down shots?

Doug
No sir. Since I shoot instinctive now, I can do a lot more positions than I could when I was a gapper. I usually go to a wma before season starts with a friend and a target and we take turns climbing up and practicing a variety of shots, whole the other fetches arrows. Not that we actually see any deer during the season, but it's good to stay sharp just in case.

It also helps that I have a very small tree stand.
Nothing clears a troubled mind like shooting a bow.
