Ol Grumpsy has had a lot of sleep on the subject and is still unsure. How about you Mitch? Any further along with the headscratching?

Interesting indeed...especially the part about re-shaping a field point. Never would have thought of that myself.

One guy on that "other site" (now long gone cause he questioned why their fearless God-like leader could post about bass fishing on a TRAD only site) used to do that to up weight...reshaped and used it as an insert over another insert inside a head! The things people do! :0

I am a fan of EFOC as is known, but there is a limit to the fooling around I'll do!

I won't mention names but you won't find his stuff on TG anymore...he got sent to Banned Camp... But same principal only this guy used a glue on field point to make an insert for a BH to add weight...
