I've never tried what you have taken on, but I think we all have heard that preparation is the most important part of any kind of refinishing. I would think that you could easily build up and re-blend in, any area you wanted to go back and smooth out again, with that tru oil.
I truly admire this project and gift you are giving to your friend.

Jesus replaces the old covenant and speaks to the believer the moral code of God by His Spirit directly to the heart. He is the eternal, everlasting revelation of God to mankind. In Him is both the knowledge of righteousness and the power to live right.

Thank you. The tru oil will hide some of it. Like said, I can always sand a specific area down again if needed. Part of it looks streaky or not smooth/blotchy, as I just added a coat in the picture.

looking good James. Tru oil is good stuff in my book
i have sanded down little spots in finished bows and used tru oil to seal it back up, it is pretty amazing how well it can blend into other finishes.

I'll consider this done. Learned a few things along the way. Manufacture brace says 8 1/4- 8 3/4. Mine shoots good at 8 3/4. I set it at just under 9 figure the string will stretch to approximately 8 3/4. A few flaws but pretty good. 100% better than when I started.

It looks like new James. Your buddy is going to be very happy.
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
