Newbie to the group
Just wanted to say Hello to all the folks here
Unlike most of you here I am very new to Bows and Hunting. My wife and I just finished the Hunters course here in our area (Ontario Canada) which is a requirement to get a hunting licence. I bought a Samick Sage at the end of the summer and have since bought 2 more recurves, 1 - is a 58" Ben Pearson Sovereign Lance 1966 (50lb @28) and 2 - is a 58" Shakespeare Necedah x-28 1974 (50lb @28)
These bows are very addictive or maybe its my personality
Just wanted to introduce myself
Another member here turned me onto you all here, he's also a member on another forum that we are a part of
Cheers

Hahahah
Yes, yes it is off to a good start.
I have been reading all your posts on the bows you have built, inspiring
. Maybe one day when I have the time i will get to build one for myself, but for now I have some motorbikes to finish building (this is my other addictive problem)

Be careful about getting too many addictive habits, some wives can't take a joke.
Glad you enjoyed looking through the bow builds, starting another soon, feel free to join in on it.

Welcome to the sickness!
We're glad you joined us here, looking forward to your questions and participation.
The Sage is a great place to start, and your two vintage bows sound excellent. Looking forward to some pictures of all of them!

Welcome to Trad Hunter! Glad you found us. I think the Sage is a great bang for the buck.
I have a Shakespeare too, but mine is the Yukon X-24. Its not as nice as your model, but its a surprisingly good shooter.
Anyway, looking forward to getting to know you!

The element of surprise can never be replaced by persistence.
