New Guy in Camp
Hey, y’all.
I’m a new member, though I have bounced in and out reading forum posts off and on for a few years. I currently live in LA (Lower Alabama) but have lived all over the place in the past. I grew up stomping around the woods with a long bow, tried a compound in the early eighties and didn’t like it after loosing a very good buck to a cam squeak. I was fortunate to have a very experienced mentor when I was young. ( Honestly he is one of the best shots I’ve ever seen and that includes people on videos. )
I’ve been out of consistent hunting for several years but have never fallen out of love with the bow and arrow. I’ll be hunting again this year.
The bows I’m shooting right now are a sweet reflex/reflex longbow made by Lynn Harrelson and a Black Widow H-1225.

And please pardon my typos. It’s tough on this phone.

We will ignore yours if you will ignore our typos.

Welcome from the swamps of Louisiana.
Nothing clears a troubled mind like shooting a bow.
