Trouble with Green Apple Season

Some of you remember the long thread I ran last year when I was shooting at Green Apples. Even got ole Shadow involved in the hunt. Well this year is different, the Apples are growing but seem to be disappearing before I can get to hunt them. The Squirrels and Rabbits always seem to take their part but they normally leave me more Apples. I did find one good one today while trying out an old 2013 bow. Shots were scattered but both rounds got one in the Apple! I was walking around from 15-25 yards.

Later today I spotted the Green Apple Bandit! Remember that I live in the City limits of a small town. I took the picture standing in my driveway. To add insult to injury he left droppings all over the yard. Rascal probably been sitting in the woods laughing at me shooting and wishing all hunters used tradbows and shot like me!!

I don't know why you always pick on those apples.
I'll have you know, when my dad started me hunting, I had to eat everything I shot. 8-)

Well as you can see the Apples are guarded this year. I usually do eat my part of them, not this season.
