More necessary fun!

The majority of your bowhunting year is spent practicing and/or training. This is the place to discuss it!

The course ended with a large bull Elk standing out in the field where you came off the mountain. You can see the spot up around the main points of its antlers. It was a challenging shot to say the least. To begin with your shooting downhill. Then at a distance of 40-50 yards?? Then through trees and limbs where I had to shoot from one knee to get an opening. The first round wasn’t so good with my first over and theirs under.

On our last round we fared much better. All four of my arrows were hits. Steve missed one of four but two more and got both in the critter. Mark is still hunting arrows!!   I’m kidding, he did struggle on that but made up for it most of the time. Had to pick on somebody! Here is the Elk when we came off the mountain...
