Long range for consistency

#1 Post by Dan »

I fling some long range arrows regularly to work on keeping my shooting consistent. Minor differences shot to shot become obvious at longer ranges. I shot from 40 to 60 yds today.

Good to see you here Dan.
Looks like that bag target has some mileage on it.

Yeah I still shoot both of my k mags. I was shooting my longbow today. That target has taken a beating.

Wow....My first thought is I cant even see enough detail at 30 yards on a target to shoot it let alone 50! My old eyes are failing me.
My second thought is I sure am glad my average deer shot is 12 yards cause I couldn't see from my eye condition, or all this woolley Kansas brush!

Hats off to ya Dan, enjoy that long range shooting while you still can! Great shooting!
The element of surprise can never be replaced by persistence.
