Some great hunting books.

Read any good Bow Books lately? Here's the spot to talk about it.

For turkey hunting stories and not bow hunting, but Gene Nunnery is great. Old Pro Turkey Hunter and I Will Lift Up Mine Eyes Unto The Hills are as good as they get!

Dad wouldn't let me hunt deer until I read "Shots at Whitetails" by Lawrence Koller, probably written in the 1940's or 1950's (1948). The area is the Catskills in upstate NY where I hunted as a young person and later lived and worked while going to school.

One thing that was written of was still hunting. Dad was really good at it. He slipped up on me more than once. Here in Central Illinois, it's mostly stand hunting, but years ago, from time to time, I would practice still hunting. There is an intensity about it that is also serenely peaceful.
Jesus replaces the old covenant and speaks to the believer the moral code of God by His Spirit directly to the heart. He is the eternal, everlasting revelation of God to mankind. In Him is both the knowledge of righteousness and the power to live right.
