Maybe pushing the traditional envelope

Well,has anybody ever shot the onieda compound recurve bows.there single string,and with the cams and levers,at full draw your holding nothing,but at release,a big bunch of whup a** let's go.maybe not pure trad, but a neat bow from history.

No never shot one.They are a little crazy looking. I would like to shoot one just to see how they work.

Almost got one years ago. Didn't, someone said hard to tune.

Okay I couldn’t stand it so I ask Google, that feller is nearly as smart as I am! So is this the critter?

Yep; that’s wild looking. Seems like I saw that Nugent feller using one on his show once?

Yes I think your right Tony. I think I recall uncle Ted using one also. I almost shot one years ago. I was shooting at an indoor range and the guy shooting next to me had one. The screaming eagle. It was really loud!
