I lost both my hives over the winter. I've ordered 2 replacement nucs and should get them in late April to start all over again.

Checked one of my swarm boxes Monday. Had a swarm moving in while I was there. Moved them home this morning before work. Pretty good mess of bees. 4-5 pounds probably.

Then last Saturday I cut a huge hive out of a big walnut tree buddy mine cut down. It was massive. They had comb running 8 ft in that tree. I was able to find the Queen. It was a amazing experience.

Are honey bees less aggressive than yellow jackets? I'd hate to be our for a walk in the woods and take a rest on that tree trunk. I know yellow jackets would be all over me if I came close to and disturbed their hive. I remember years ago jumping over and clearing 3 rows of rose bushes with a mess of yellow jackets chasing me.

That must have been a great find for you.
Jesus replaces the old covenant and speaks to the believer the moral code of God by His Spirit directly to the heart. He is the eternal, everlasting revelation of God to mankind. In Him is both the knowledge of righteousness and the power to live right.

Been pretty busy spring. Started out with 3 hives. Now got 10. Caught several swarms and did a couple removals. I’ll post a few pics later.

Little small colony I removed from inside a wall in a bath house at a hunting club. Comb was new and fresh so it was weak and hit the ground when I pulled insulation back. They were coming in through a knot hole in outside board. The knot had came out. So I repaired the hole.

Found this Queen European hornet trying to start a nest in one of my swarm traps. I missed her the first time so I left the nest. I knew she would be back got her that afternoon.
