The day has come. They had more bees for sale while I was there so....I got some more. All went well. Got both hives set up. Not sure how well it will do but if you zoom in the Queen is couple inches from my finger. On the top right corner. She has a green dot on her. For some reason the wife didn’t want to get any closer

I picked up a nuc Wednesday to replace the hive I lost over the winter. I got those bees installed and finally was able to get into my other hive. Those bees are doing great! I don't think you could have stuck another one in the hive and the landing board was completely yellow from all the pollen they had been gathering.

I need to get another couple deep boxes and some frames just in case my good hive wants to swarm. I looked for queen cells and didn't find any but you can't be too careful.

If it ever stops raining, I'll suit up and take some photos of my hives.

Can’t wait to see them. I’m going to wait couple weeks before I go back in my package hive. Saw plenty of fresh eggs today. So I’ll let them be. The nuc hive should really take off soon. Lots of capped brood. Watched some new bees emerge today.

Added second brood box to one of my hives today. The other is catching up. Lots new bees to be born starting tomorrow. Not sure how well you can see them but the cells above the Queen all have eggs in the bottom. Little white speck.
