Bee keepers

Any current or past bee keepers here? I’m just starting. Got some coming next month.

Not me but I had a relative years ago that did.
Keep us posted on your progress. Very interesting hobby.

I will for sure. Hopefully I’ll have some pics as well. Maybe I can convince someone in the family to take them. Haha.

I borrowed the protective gear once when I had many wasp nests to clear out before we painted the house years ago.

But I've never been close to them and rarely stung by a honey bee.

I love their honey though. This will be interesting. Thank you.

I got into bee keeping last year. I had two hives but lost one over the winter. Already ordered another nuc to replace that one and started feeding the remaining one last week. It's an interesting hobby.

Have you tried catching any swarms yet with traps? I put one out Saturday. Got 3 more I need to get out this week.
