This Okeetee is probably going to be the most beautiful when she gets mature, they loose all the brown tones and get more gold and rust color.

This is a good place to deal with and a corn snake would be my seguestion for a 5 year old.
But supervision is a good idea so the snake doesn't get squeezed and injured.
And always make sure the lid is closed good.
