OK; for me...I've told this story already. More than once. It was my Ben Pearson Super Jet given to me by Dad when I was still a kid. And I still have the bow!

Shot home-made stick and string bows when I was a kid. Got my first fiberglass bow, a used Browning Safari-two in around 1967. Killed my first deer with a 45# Root.

My first traditional bow was a Browning Safari 1. Got it used from 3 Rivers not long after getting home from the Marine Corps in 2005.

First trad bow - first bow for that matter - is the '70's era Grizzly I bought a year ago. Started making my own and stumbled across the Bear on Kijiji.
Had to tell The Boss that I "received it from a friend" as thanks for scoring him barn board for a home project...

My first was made by the barber in town. Was a recurve. A carp shooting machine.
