Anybody else here read "Traditional Bowhunter" magazine?
The last two issues I bought have been really good....even at Bass Pro prices. (retail) I was thinking about subscribing but wondered if all the issues were as good as the ones I had, or if I just got lucky?
I used to enjoy Bowhunter magazine but noticed (now that I'm a trad shooter) that 95% of the articles and ads focus on compounds and crossbows.

Got it for many years, always looked forward to getting it in the mail. Somehow forgot to renew.

I think so, sure is a lot cheaper to subscribe, I usually did two years at a time for the savings.

If you read Traditional Bowhunter Magazine you can also go to the website ( tradbow.com) and read a story written by Gary Olsen ( my hunting partner) called "Angus and the Bushwacker". Gary and I were the ones that just went hunting with Larry in Oregon for elk. Gary has written many articles for Traditional Bowhunter Magazine and Bowhunter magazine. The story is about the buck I shot last year called the bushwacker and Angus, the biggest buck we saw.
