A wonderful weekend
After 2 1/2 years of constant caregiving of my brother who had a major stroke and raising a grandchild me and my wife finally got a weekend off!! Got a sister to take over this weekend and me and Momma (Wifey) ran away. Stayed in a motel in another town for the first time in many years, wife is shopping hard now while I sit relaxed in the car, I can't keep up! Going back tonight but am enjoying this time with my wife. Can't miss Church tomorrow though, for some strange reason they expect the Pastor to show up!

That's great that you got away for a while .
I know what that's like , was a care giver for my late wife till she passed . That will zap everything out of you .
God bless you and hang in there .

Still am, but she done walked this old man down, back to sitting in the car again. She shopped till I dropped!

Back to the grind. Got tonight to rest then pick up brother in the morning. Sure was easier just getting one old man (me) bathed and ready for Church today. It's not that I mind doing it but it has been much more difficult lately with my own health issues.
