its being polished after every critique and comment! thanks
Question 1. Expert or beginner?
Most here like myself would fit into neither category, try experienced or beginner.
I have bow hunted over 30 years but am certainly no expert.
Question 2. Traditional or modern. This site membership is made up of "Tradhunter's"
(3) Bullseye success rate. Who knows? Depends on day and distance practicing.
(4) number of animals wounded? Not something anyone likes or keeps records of. Compared to those harvested very small number.
(5) would we be interested in purchasing a bow sight?
Some have hunted 30-40 years without one, doubt they will change now.
Many if not most of us once used sights and no longer desire them.
"Significantly improved accuracy" This statement should be removed from your survey or used only on modern bow sites. Are you saying that we are not accurate without them? Far too many Deer are harvested without them, there are pictures on this site to prove that.
As far as the interest in the modern gadgets mentioned in your list: most of us strive to escape those things.
Just trying to help you see the mindset of a "Tradhunter ". Stick around and look at the discussions on other parts of this site.
Yep; that was about the forth time I checked it, not filling anything out until changes are made. Looks too much like an attempt to get email addresses to try and sell modern gadgets that we strive to avoid.
As far as we know, it could be an attempt at a number of things. Not accusing, but even so much as far as animal activist..how are we to tell? Also a thing out there called phishing. An attempt to gain personal info in order to hack accounts and steal credit card numbers or identity theft.
The element of surprise can never be replaced by persistence.
Sounds like a sales gimmick. Now, if his fancy pants device offers all of those nifty features, it'll certainly be a sight to see (get it!?) But pretty high-tech stuff.
I have yet to hunt, so I don't think I'll be filling out the survey. That and, we don't have Chick-Fil-A up here (tasty as it is!).
Anyone else note that the original poster hasn't had anything to say lately?
