Bjorn, when you say the "upper side of the limb" you mean to take the top half and then discard the lower or bottom of the limb? Interesting. I'll have to do some VM sawing. Nice bow! I've got a piece that is well seasoned and roughed out. But it is curved from tip to tip and needs straightening. Does VM do ok with heat treating?

That's right Snag, split it lengthwise and discard the lower half of the stave. VM often will curl up-sometimes just one end-and it looks really squirrelly, as you tiller and 'exercise' the wood it ends up straight; yes the wood responds to heat.

Nice job! I like the wedge matching the riser. What are the specs and how does it shoot?

Thanks Bjorn. The specs are 60" 45@28. Cocobola Riser with Osage limbs. I just finished it. Haven't had much time to shoot it.
