BIGFOOT!
Lets hear some bigfoot stories.Any personal encounters? unexplained noises while camping or hunting? Heres my encounter.
I was guiding archery elk hunters in the eaglecap wilderness around five years ago now.I was sitting in camp with one of the wranglers waiting for the outfitter and a couple other wranglers to get back with the first group of hunters.
We were sitting by the campfire talking and the wrangler asked me to show him how to bugle,i went into the tent and got my bugle and returned to the chairs.I bugled down into the riverbottom below. What came back sent chills down my spine,it wasnt a bear an elk or coyote,it wasnt anything i had ever heard before,it was a deep continuous roar like scream.I have heard bears roar and i can pretty much swear to you that it was not a bear.
We looked at each other like what the hell was that? I bugled again and got the same response.I was getting a little freaked out by then,i bugled one more time and the roar sounded closer, the wrangler ran into the tent and grabbed the two handguns that were lying on our cots.We started hearing large river rocks hitting in the water then hitting other rocks,we heard this several times. We were both scared half to death and had no idea what we were dealing with. After the noises subsided we went down to the river to see what was down there. You could see wet rocks on the opposite side of the river where the activity must have been.We saw nothing and never heard it again. TRUE STORY.

Re: BIGFOOT!
I've heard some strange things while hunting, but nothing that made me think Bigfoot.
I can tell you this - pigs can make some of the strangest noises I ever heard,
and their guttural vocabulary has a much wider range than most folks realize.
I guess the closest Bigfoot encounter I have had was when a group of hikers caught me bathing in a creek in the San Juan, and thought "I" was Bigfoot.
It was rather embarrassing for a moment.

Well how bout this?
After the confusion, and rock throwing stopped, one of the ladies in the hiker group wanted to exchange phone numbers.
Only problem was - after some serious inspection, I thought SHE might be related (to Bigfoot that is).

Re: BIGFOOT!
last year while bear hunting in New Brunswick one of the other hunters came back to camp one very freaked out. He said there was a wet horse smell on the wind and sticks cracking behind him. Then something started throwing small rocks at him. He was 100% dead serious. Now i hadn't met him until that hunt so i dont know how active of an imagination or what the guy had, but he was visibly upset.

There are tons of reports of rock throwing involving sightings and encounters with the unknown. Its very hard to refute any of it when you have witnessed it yourself. How about the short clip fred eichler showed on TV ? I cannot imagine a person in his position pulling a fast one on people.I saw his video and it sure as hell seemed to be real.
