I shouldn't post only these snarling shots of animals. The truth is most do not snarl and are not pissed or are not in pain. You almost have to have really lucky timing to snap a shot when the animal happens to try to move you away from them through intimidation. Most always they are as calm as can be and many are fast asleep when I walk up to them.. I don't want to give the wrong impression. Bobcats and coyotes are about the most aggressive so it's easier to get a snarl...but you have to prompt it most times.Here is the same cat moments from the first shot.
