This is a Sterling silver Big Ole Calif turkey fightin spur.
The turquoise is straight from a Nevada mine. Cut and polished by me. Untreated and hard. Most turquoise is treated in some way. Injected with plastics, dyed, or some sort of treatment.
The silver is not normal 925 Sterling but 935. Its whiter and brighter and stays that way longer.
I have been a jeweler for 40yrs and a Certified Gemologist since 1975.
Been cutting stones for 40yrs.
I make anything and everything you can find in any jewelry store. Also I am jewelry appraiser.
Look at my Trinity Knives in knife and hawk forum. The man I made this for holds the Calif State record for wild turkey and his friend has number 2.
Bear claws, Elks teeth etc. I can make and design about anything someone wants.
My bows of choice are A Legends 64 inch 55lb made by Mike Rash. A 56lb Jack Howard GameMaster Jet 56lb and a 1968 Bear Kodiak 50lb....That Kodiak is a fun story....I hope everyone misses Uncle Al Reader as much as I.
