found some at last

#1 Post by Plenty Coups Archery »

Just got a limited supply of some HEAVY shafts I will be making into arrows. Have had requests for heavy woodies plus high spines for several years. Finally found a stash. Everything from lodgepole to fir to larch. These are going to make some dandy hunting arrows. 8-)

I grab 6 out of one of my boxes. 3 were 77# spine snd 590, 608 and 618 grains. The other 3 were 80,81,83 in spine and 612,616 and 618 in weight. I have a lot to sort through and spines range from 40 to over 85#. These happen to be larch (we call it tamarack here in MT). A very tough wood grown in the northwest.
