Come on in and sit a spell. There's a seat for you around the campfire.

Who is going to be a the IBO Worlds or the R100?

#1 Post by onesharpbroadhead »

I am going to be at the IBO Worlds this weekend in TN with a son and my brother. Who else is going to be there?

Two weeks later I will be at the Rhinehart R100 in Sparta Wisconsin with a group of people - anyone going to that shoot? I have never been to one of these but heard that the targets are amazing - life size Giraffe, life size Alien target from the movie Alien, all sorts of novelty shoots, etc...my 10 year old is really excited about this shoot. :)

MLB (Modern Longbow)
I don't shoot good enough to win anything, but I aim to have a whale
of a good time. I do shoot on a regular basis in Crossville Tn with the Olde Fartes.
I can't imagine the courses will be set any tougher than those.

Miss Tomi has been trying to get me to Twin Oaks for quite some time.
I will shoot with, and keep score for her and several good
shooters from Tn, even arrow caddy. Come Sunday morning, while they are having to be all serious,
I will be on the Hunters Challenge
course, having fun, or under the shed breaking rocks, and having fun,
or helping a newcomer, or fine young person shoot an arrow.
Or all three!

Looking forward to meeting, and seeing everybody!
Ain't no better sport, no better folks involved in a sport,
that I have found, that this sport; ain't it great!
Friday before lunch, my eta.
