Thought I would share another of my stupid simple recipes.
This works with any ground meat but I prefer venison.
1 pound venison burger
1 nice sized sweet onion
1 can of "Red Beans" ( NOT RED KIDNEY BEANS!) This is very important.
A couple of garlic cloves, or minced garlic or garlic powder.
Salt and pepper
Dice the onion and brown the burger with the onions and diced garlic until the pink is gone in the burger and break up the burger into small pieces.
Now turn the heat down a little and add the can of red beans, liquid and all to the pan.
Keep stirring until the whole thing starts to slightly bubble.
Salt and pepper to taste.
Turn the heat down to just a little higher than simmer and stir the whole mess every few minuets.
Keep this up for at least a half hour.
Serve with bread and butter.
Or as my wife likes to do, put it right on the bread and butter on a plate.

9 o'clock at night here and you're making me hungry!
The element of surprise can never be replaced by persistence.

You would all be welcome.
I would get you all filled up on heavy food and then I would be able to out shoot you.
Yep, all would be knapping under the big pine trees on my Pinerange archery range.

Doubt you'd have to fill me up with food to out-shoot me, Dale. Now, fill me up with good Irish whiskey and I could out-shoot the whole Cherokee nation (well not really, but in my mind, anyway...)
