What is light?
I am going to start this off with a mind bending question!
"Is light composed of waves or particles?"
I know, you are thinking that I am posting in the wrong sub-forum. But I ask the question because I already know the answer. Nobody knows the exact answer as it seems that light is comprised of particals AND waves even though the two are distinctly separate things in nature. This has been a confounding phenomenon to physicists who seek to neatly categorize all things.
How would we ever have capability of understanding an eternally existing Creator had God not reached out to His creation through His Son? How would we relate to God in a personal and intimate way? God's power and omnicience is way beyond our comprehension but the love of God is felt through His Spirit. God is light and God is love. We don't have to completely understand it all do we?

I don't know that we CAN, Doug. I believe that falls under the "take it on faith" category.dougedwards wrote: God is light and God is love. We don't have to completely understand it all do we?

Dr. Kent Hovind has an interesting thought on that.
No scientist has ever been able to explain it but they can measure it.

Just glad that God Revealed himself unto us through His Son! He is the true light... John 1:9.

Wait till you hit 70. I'm now shooting the bows I bought for the kids and the wife and they are shooting mine. Still fun though. I loved Longtrads comment. I'm just glad we do have light. Imagine trying to get to your stand in total black darkness.
Jesus replaces the old covenant and speaks to the believer the moral code of God by His Spirit directly to the heart. He is the eternal, everlasting revelation of God to mankind. In Him is both the knowledge of righteousness and the power to live right.

Nothing clears a troubled mind like shooting a bow.
