I have recently decided to start making/building some of my own trad archery tools and flemish strings seemed to be the easiest to begin with. So I thought that I would share the new string board I've had made by Darijo Dudašek from Croatia. I haven't received it just yet, but it is on it's way and I can't wait. I think it's a very interesting design because you can either select bow length or string length. Plus he has added pins to adjust the length +/- by a half inch. You can see how it is used in the video link that I have attached. I have also attached pictures of the one he made for me with a Fred Bear quote engraved on it(my request).

That’s a nice board. How much does he sell them for?

I had seen his video a while back, but could not find any other information him or his string board. Then one day I saw him post on one of the traditional archery facebook pages and asking if any one would be interested. So I jumped right on it.

Very cool. Well good luck building. String making is very rewarding.

Thanks! I've had a tough time finding a a quality board for sale(like those ones with the brass pins) or any plans online to make one. I just saw the ones that you sale this morning for the first time. If I had seen those a few weeks ago prior to this one I would have ordered one. Do you sale any string making material?Flemish Dave wrote: ↑Wed Apr 25, 2018 9:51 am Very cool. Well good luck building. String making is very rewarding.

Not yet. Hopefully someday I will start to carry the material. I usually find the best prices on eBay. I can usually get a 1/4 lb of d97 spool for about 32 bucks shipped. Two colors of that and you will be able to make a mess of strings. Now b55 should only pay about 12 bucks a 1/4 spoil and everyone has it even amazon. I stick with bcy brand.

Pretty interesting "table" that board is on. What's the story behind it?
