Just back from a few rough weeks.

I'm sorry to hear that George. I am extremely sorry for your loss.

Out of all of the folks I've met on the bowhunting forums, you are one of the ones I respect the most. I hope you feel better.

Thanks guys. We're pretty much back to normal again; said our goodbyes and celebrated two good lives. Life is for the living and we must continue in that direction. Looking forward more than ever to some quality time in the October woods here in Pennsylvania. Been seeing some very nice bucks and the katydids are singing every night. Last night the coyotes were serenading us from the foothills behind our property. Wife made some fresh grape jelly today....some pear jam tomorrow, and the larder is full of jams, jellies, peaches and tomatoes from our homestead. Life is good, and death will come soon enough. Good luck to everyone in the coming season.

Dunno that life ever gets back to 'normal' after the loss of loved ones - our routines resume, but the holes left in the fabric of our lives gets ever more ragged as we age... My thoughts and prayers for you & your wife, and I echo what Killy eloquently stated...
