AWESOME! Please tell us more about the shot, what happened before during and after? How did the arrow preform?

Also how does that bear meat taste? Looks good

The 125gr Ace head on a Douglass Fir shaft total weight of 510gr was a complete pass through.
The bow is a Javaman Helms Deep 45#@28".
The bear went 63 yards according to my GPS , so plus or minus how ever accurate that is.

Way to go graps! Congrats on a successful hunt what a beauty you have there. Glad to see the helms deep did the job for ya, shot like a laser when we practiced at your place!!!

Congrats on a fine bear and lots of memories! That looks yummy! I've ate bear 2x and loved it both times!
