Bad service, huh? Not bad enough that you couldn't post the above, but bad enough that you could not tell us what it is?

Well you need to find someone to make you a new string.Flemish Dave wrote: ↑Wed Jul 18, 2018 12:11 pm The fact is most of the bows at that shop or on consignment and both kmag and this bow had horrible strings and the arrows I used not much better. Yep sometimes you find a bow that just sings to you, other times I go in there to try out a bow that is really popular with other folks and i think its a pile of junk.Flemish Dave wrote: ↑Wed Jul 18, 2018 11:45 am Well maybe it was that kmag but we didn’t get along like I thought of. However I tried another bow for giggles and boy did it have a spell on it. Walked out with it too.

Refer to this post Kirk.

Re: Lovin' It!
Yeah Kirk, I'm way up in the Rockies with little to no connectivity. I could tell you what it is, but where would the fun in that be? I am actually trying to date it real quick before I reveal what it is. So far my research is leading me to believe that I have a 1971-1972 Tigercat 50lbs 58" right-handed. I believe it is 71-72 because it has a flush nickel/silver medallion and is 58" in length, also it has the 1953 Canadian patent on it, which stopped after 1972. It is an interesting bow because I do not think I would ever go after a bow with whitish glass on it. Its in really good shape and I talked the shop down to letting me have it for $200.00 flat. I picked it up with the crappy string it had on it and three random arrows, what followed were some of the best groups I have ever shot out of any bow. My first shot at 20 yards literally drove a screw further in that was holding my little piece of a balloon (makeshift target) in. Literally drove a tack, and my group sizes at 20 yards ranged from a lemon to a small orange over and over and over again.. I don't know what it is about the bow, which I would probably have not picked up, if it weren't the only other bow in my price range, which was sub $200.00.
