A little experiment.
I have an idea.
I like to put a resist on some of my projects so it will come out a two tone and the tooled pattern will stand out.
My idea is, stain the leather with just regular leather dye and after it dries, then paint on the resist over the tooling.
Then I will use black antique gel over everything.
Will it wok?
Here is what it looks like after applying red dye and the resist on the tooling stamp.

And here it is after the black gel.
I noticed that some of the red is showing through the black, but I think I still like it."Maybe the truly handicapped people are the ones that don't need God as much." ~ Joni Eareckson Tada

Re: A little experiment.
That looks nice Dale.
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
