Well that’s not good, don’t like loosing food, especially jerky!
Your recipe is much different than mine, don’t know that is matters though if it is dried good you would think it would keep, especially frozen. Shows what I know.

Food doesn't "go bad" in the freezer. It is still edible - as in it won't kill you. It may be freezer burned and taste bad and be really tough and chewy and tough. If it looks ok it probably will probably taste fine. I've eaten venison that had been in the freezer four or five years. It had been wrapped really well. I trimmed off the edges that had been freezer burned and the rest was fine.
