Been on the ground.

#1 Post by frassettor »

I used to hunt out of tree stands but the last few years I find myself on the ground 100%. I prefer this method because I really don’t like heights and hunting public land here allows me to be very mobile when others are concentrated on the trees. It’s marshy here and it can be challenging but I find it very rewarding. My Waldrop Pac seat is a pleasure to hunt out of.

The ground can be fun no doubt about it. A kill from the ground is special.

I've always enjoyed the ground but I also love sleeping in trees. Tied in of coarse.
Jesus replaces the old covenant and speaks to the believer the moral code of God by His Spirit directly to the heart. He is the eternal, everlasting revelation of God to mankind. In Him is both the knowledge of righteousness and the power to live right.

One of my most exciting kills was out of a tree top that was laying on the ground. I have found though that for whatever reason some parts of the country the deer seem easier to hunt from the ground. In my home area I do hunt from the ground when its a better fit but I have more sucess from a tree. I just take what the circumstances give. I do like the convenience of being mobil on the ground.

Better have good eyes and ears on the ground.

Mostly tree here. But I do get a hunt or two in from the ground.
