Got all my sausage made!

#1 Post by dhaverstick »

I haven't been on here in a while so I thought I'd post what I've been up to. Between Christmas and New Years, I always take that time off and make my venison summer sausage and breakfast sausage. This year's haul was 62 pounds of summer sausage and 17 pounds of breakfast sausage. It's a lot of work and takes a lot of time but I believe the end result is worth it!

I like the hanging location! Just grab one on the way down the stairs! Kudos for putting in the time and making the best of your harvest and natural resources! 👍

looks pretty awesome and I bet both kinds taste awesome. The best part is two fold, you provided the meat and you made the sausage so you know exactly what went into it. I can taste a slice on a cracker with cheese right now. lasts a long time and is a great source of protein. great pics as well.
